Voting Acquisition Exam
The Voting Acquisition Exam is an exam present in Jeongmi for permanent residents and those under the age of twenty to obtain voting rights. Prior to 1917, it was the only way to obtain suffrage.

Test format[edit]
The exam consists of two sections:
- Section I: Multiple-Choice (45 minutes, 60 questions)
- Section II: Free-response (100 minutes, 4 questions)
In all a total of 120 points are attainable, with each section being worth 60 points. A minimum of 90 points are required to pass.
