Hey![edit]

I'm Re.min.a (stylized as Remina; Discord: Remina#3741), an active member of the worldbuilding project of Tiandi. I joined the community in January of 2021, and since then, have come to run five nations. I am a native speaker of English (American), and speak Spanish (Mexican & Philippine) and Dutch somewhat fluently. I am also focused on learning Tagalog and Mongolian at the moment, but am also looking to learn Italian.

I've always had an interest in worldbuilding, fantasy settings, alternate history, and other things. I'm currently in college, hoping to become a geologist.

Areas of interest[edit]

  • Cartography, cartography/mapmaking is a hobby I really enjoy. I've always loved it, and it's part of the reason I want to go into geology.
  • Alternate history, I've been dipping my toes in alternate history for a while, and am working on a mini/side-project at the moment.
  • Worldbuilding, I've been interested in worldbuilding in general for quite a while. Tiandi is the first major worldbuilding project I've been a part of.
  • Reality television, I absolutely love reality tv! Whenever I'm not working on Tiandi, studying, or actually working, I plop myself across the couch and turn on a good ol' episode of 90 Day Fiancé (and its spinoffs, collectively referred to as the "90 Day Cinematic Universe" or "90 Day Fiancé Franchise").
  • Culinary, which originally was going to be my major because I previously wanted to pursue a career as a pastry chef but did come to realize that wasn't something I wanted to do. I enjoy baking as a hobby and am doing it all the time, especially in the latter half of the year (October to December).
