Sitoan (Hokkien: 西端) is a sovereign state in western Jungju, bordered by Lanxieu to the northwest, Mincang to the north, and Hhokai to the east. Covering 448,529 square kilometers of area, it is home to a population of 44,321,655.

Etymology[edit]

Sitoan's name roughly translates to "west end". It refers to the nation's location on the coast of the West Sea.

History[edit]

Sitoan fell under the direct control of Cheonje after 1 CE. For most of its history, it existed as part of the territory of various states that covered both Lanxieu and Sitoan.

Mincang invaded Sitoan in the Great Eulhae War. After the war, a new government was restored. Unlike its neighbor to the north, Sitoan is not a member of the Sinju Union.

Geography[edit]

Government and politics[edit]

Sitoan is medium-sized constitutional republic. While the government still claims Sitoan to have a multiparty system, it has been accepted by most if not all Sitoanese that there is only one party in power, that party being the Sitoan People’s Party. Despite being what has essentially amounted to an authoritarian state, most Sitoanese enjoy many of the same rights found in most major powers.
