Sansiao, officially the Republic of Sansiao (Sansiaonese: 杉瀟民國; Sānsiāo Mínguẻ) is a sovereign, landlocked unitary republic in eastern-central Jungju. It borders Meisaan to the north, Bagok to the northeast, Mincang to the west, and Zhuigo to the south.

[Sansiao has a bicameral parliament - lower house voting has universal suffrage, districts proportional to population (stems from tradition of local administrators and officials). Upper house is a form of citizens' assembly chosen by sortition from all Sansiaonese above 20 who have taken an exam (stems from tradition of bureaucrats/civil service examinations).]
