Hekatsut, officially the State of Hekatsut (Hekatsutan: 云゛衣云゛么阿土寸烏土 私微伊以阿, χéχʔáttsut swíya) is a sovereign state on the eastern coast of Bangju in western Yeongju. It borders Yuluil to the south, Wuyala to the north, and Thunderbird Bay to the east.
Hekatsut is a small Ti Sqa nation in surrounded by Wakashan countries. While its neighbours look to Sinju for influence, Hekatsut is oriented towards Hachuabsh, because of their shared culture (and possibly former control?). Hekatsut lost a large portion of its territory to Yuluil in the mid-1900s. While large numbers of Hekatsutans were evicted and the territory was resettled, Hekatsut still claims the area and violent conflict with Yuluil has repeatedly broken out over the years.
Etymology[edit]
χéχʔáttsut derives from the word for 'pure' or 'virtuous'.
